Walnut Sapwood

Sapwood is the newer or younger wood of a tree and with this species it's much lighter than what we normally picture when we think of walnut. A smallish 7" across and 5" deep delightful piece with a large bark inclusion and the traditional dark walnut color running accross the bottom.
Wipe with warm damp rag to clean.
